  Events for Niagara Region Pull for Kids Saturday, May 24, 2003 Thorold Arena Teams of ten to twelve pull a pumper fire truck across the finish line and against the clock. This event is ideal for emergency service personnel and other corporate teams. BBQ, activities for the kids on site. Also, a Kid's Mini-Pull. Registration fee $10 per person and a minimum of $100 in pledges.  Curl for Christmas Seals Saturday, November 30, 2002 This was the second curling event of this calendar year, raising over $1724. It was a great day of fun. The top curling team was from Niagara College. The top fund raising individuals were Rick and Jan Duncan of St. Catharines. A special thank you to the Welland Curling Club for all their help. Mark you calendar now for the 2003 event which will be held in November. Challenge your friends, families and co-workers, come out have a great time and help the one in five people with respiratory disease. Dentist's Annual Christmas Dinner/Auction Saturday, December 14, 2002 For the third consecutive year, The Lung Association, Niagara Region has partnered with the Niagara Peninsula Dental Association to hold a silent auction at the dentist's annual Christmas Dinner. In past year's, we've auctioned off decorated Christmas trees. This year, the focus was on smaller trees and Christmas Gift Baskets. The auction was a pleasant, added feature, to the dentists' dinner which was attended by fifty or so couples. We appreciate their support.
