If you think you might have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), if you know you have it, or if you know someone who has it – BreathWorks can help.

The Lung Association's BreathWorks™ is a public health program designed to provide free COPD information, resources, and support to Canadians.

BreathWorks offers support and practical information to help you:
  • manage your COPD and medications
  • prevent the progression of your disease
  • avoid flare-ups
  • relieve your symptoms
  • cope with physical challenges and emotional hurdles of COPD
  • work with your doctor
  • find support groups
  • and much more

Just by visiting the BreathWorks web site, you're taking an important step towards managing your COPD.   2. Call the BreathWorks Helpline
    Whether you want more information or are looking for support, call the toll-free BreathWorks Helpline at 1-866-717-COPD (2673) and speak with one of our COPD educators. This service is available Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. You can also leave messages for a call-back – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And, when you call during regular business hours, you'll speak with someone right away no going through a complicated list of options.
